Tuesday's Trust - God Hears Our Heart's Cry

Tuesday's Trust

God Hears Our Heart's Cry

When the ache is deep and the words won't come...

God hears our heart's cry. He does our praying in and for us making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.

In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness;

 for we do not know how to pray as we should,

but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us

with groanings too deep for words;

The Holy Bible

  1. How do you deal with not knowing if your child had accepted Jesus and was saved? My son was 31 and I don't know if he ever made a commitment. I think I could deal a little easier with his death if I knew that he was with our Lord. Please help me deal with this. thank you

  2. Precious Dianne,

    I thank you for your question, one so sacred to my heart. Your question is so very important, I attempted to answer it by putting my answer on a post for this "Friday's Faith." Hopefully many parents can benefit from your candor. You can find the post by clicking the link at the bottom of this note. Thank you so much for your vulnerability and honesty. My heart is with you and so many of us mothers and daddies who search for such answers to our heart-felt questions. My prayers go with you.

    In His love,

    Angie

  3. P.S., Sorry Dianne, it looks like the link cannot be "clicked"! Perhaps you can "cut and paste" it to find it, or just search for "Mother Grieving Loss of Child" on Google, and when it comes up, look for "Friday's Faith" on 5/16/2014.

    Thank you again, so much.
