I'm thinking of friends whom I used to know
Who lived and suffered in this world below
They've gone up to Heaven
And I want to know
I wonder what are they doing There now?

There were some whose bodies were full of disease
No medicine and no doctor could give them a peace
They suffered until death would bring them sweet release
