Poem to our precious child: August 2nd - Your Last Day on Earth...

August 2nd - Your Last Day on Earth...

Your last day on earth...

Your first day in Heaven!

Twas for us all darkness and dearth...

Yet for you, you saw God in His Heaven,

So all was right in your world!

For us, such a fateful night...

For you, all you saw was Goodness and Light!

Though 12-years out, we are still sad…

(And we’re sure we’ll continue to feel sad),

We are so thankful…

All is right in your world!

Happy Heavenly Birthday precious Merry Katherine,

our forever-Teen-Angel…

And the dust returns to the ground it came from,
and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

~Ecclesiastes 12:7, New International Version

Thank You God for Your Word, Your precious promise to our grieving hearts.

Thank You that You are taking wonderful care of our precious child.

What a Wonderful Father You are!

Please continue to hold our hearts close to You on this side of Heaven.

❤️❤️❤️

May God bless you all,

Angie

Tuesday's Trust - Loss and Gain...

Tuesday's Trust

Loss and Gain...

What happened to my family, dear Lord, I cry:
So close, intimate, worshipers together of You
And yet now, there's so little of which we see eye-to-eye,
And their hearts seem so merciless, at least in my view.

And yet, my hubby of 33 1/2 years is dearer to me than ever;
My sons have hearts for You;
My granddaughter's heart so precious,
And my baby… is entwined with You.

It seems I have lost so much...
And yet I have so much I've gained:
Your heart, O God, with mine does touch,
Even melted together through pain.

My mother and my daddy, now with you,
Our hearts enveloped together o'er time,
The bonding with them so precious
Has all the fingerprints of The Divine.

So I thank you for my blessings
Even as I grieve
For ones no longer with us,
And for hearts who've been deceived.

Melt me, break me,
Mold me, make me;
In this sweet time that's left, make me more like Thee!

You break our hearts to pour them out,
And yet we're drawn closer to Thee ~ in sweetest intimacy.

God's unique economy: You empty us, yet ever pour Your glory out…
Comfort us, O comfort Lord; Draw near, e'en as You give the Enemy rout.

Monday's Mourning Ministry - I Will Rise - by Chris Tomlin

Monday's Mourning Ministry

I Will Rise

by

I Will Rise

Chris Tomlin

There's a peace I've come to know

Though my heart and flesh may fail

There's an anchor for my soul

I can say, "It is well"

Jesus has overcome

And the grave is overwhelmed

The victory is won

He is risen from the dead

And I will rise when He calls my name

No more sorrow, no more pain

I will rise on eagle's wings

Before my God

Fall on my knees

And rise

I will rise

There's a day that's drawing near

When this darkness breaks to light

And the shadows disappear

And my faith shall be my eyes

Jesus has overcome

And the grave is overwhelmed

The victory is won

He is risen

From the dead

And I will rise

When He calls my name

No more sorrow

No more pain

I will rise on eagles' wings

Before my God

Fall on my knees

And rise

I will rise
