Monday's Mourning Ministry - You Pulled Me Through ~Jennifer Hudson

Monday's Mourning Ministry
You Pulled Me Through
~Jennifer Hudson

You Pulled Me Through
~Jennifer Hudson

I was in the darkness
I was out in the cold
Seemed nothing could heal this
This hole in my soul.

You reached out Your arms to me
Held out Your heart to me
Pulled me back from the edge
Thought I reached the end.

When I was drowning
When I was so confused
You, You, You pulled me through.

I was in the shadows
Lost, nothing left to lose
You, You, You pulled me through.

You gave my faith back
Faith was so hard to find
You gave me my life back
You were my lifeline
The love that You gave me
Is the love that has saved me

Your strength is what
Made me strong
You held me
And I held on

When I was drowning
When I was so confused
You, You, You pulled me through

I was in the shadows
Lost, nothing left to lose
You, You, You pulled me through

Out of the dark
Into Your arms
Into the light
Your love saved my life

When I was drowning
When I was so confused
You, You, You pulled me through

I was in the shadows
Lost, nothing left to lose
You, You, You pulled me through

You, You, You pulled me through

Monday's Mourning Ministry - Whispering Hope ~Gloria Gaither and Larry Ford

Monday's Mourning Ministry

Whispering Hope

~Gloria Gaither and Larry Ford

Whispering Hope

~Intro by Gloria Gaither
~Sung by Larry Ford

Soft as the voice of an angel,
Breathing a lesson unheard,
Hope with a gentle persuasion
Whispers her comforting word:
Wait till the darkness is over,
Wait till the tempest is done,
Hope for the sunshine tomorrow,  After the shower is gone.
Refrain
Whispering hope,
oh, how welcome thy voice,
Making my heart
in its sorrow rejoice.

If, in the dusk of the twilight,
Dim be the regions afar,
Will not the deepening darkness
Brighten the glimmering star?
Then when the night is upon us,
Why should the heart sink away?
Then when the night is upon us,
Why should the heart sink away?
When the dark midnight is over,
Watch for the breaking of day.

Whispering hope,
oh, how welcome thy voice,
Making my heart
in its sorrow rejoice.
Making my heart
in its sorrow rejoice!

(The last verse of the song was not sung,
but it also has a strong and hopeful message:)

Hope, as an anchor so steadfast,
Rends the dark veil for the soul,
Whither the Master has entered,
Robbing the grave of its goal;
Come then, oh, come glad fruition,
Come to my sad weary heart;
Come, O Thou blest hope of glory,
Never, oh, never depart.

Whispering hope,
oh, how welcome thy voice,
Making my heart
in its sorrow rejoice.

Monday's Mourning Ministry - When a Broken Heart Heals ~The Isaacs

Monday's Mourning Ministry

When a Broken Heart Heals

~The Isaacs

When a Broken Heart Heals

~The Isaacs

You can't get over what's been said.

You don't even want to get out of bed.

Right now you're hurt, and hope is gone,

and the night's so long~it goes on and on, and on.

When a broken heart heals,

it beats that much stronger,

it loves that much deeper,

it learns to forgive.

And with every tear,

it's closer to mending,

ad scars aren't just marks of a fighter

who didn't just lay down and die

when he could not feel.

When a broken heart heals

When a broken heart heals...

All you wanta do is just move on,

fast forward time till the pain is gone.

You're praying, "God, when will it end?"

and you wonder if you're ever going to feel again~

Well, you will again...

'Cause when a broken heart heals,

it beats that much stronger,

it loves that much deeper,

it learns to forgive.

And with every tear,

it's closer to mending,

ad scars aren't just marks of a fighter

who didn't just lay down and die

when he could not feel.

When a broken heart heals

When a broken heart heals...

Ah - ahh

And with every tear,

it's closer to mending,

ad scars aren't just marks of a fighter

who didn't just lay down and die

when he could not feel.

When a broken heart heals

When a broken heart heals...

Ah - ahh

Songs for Diego,

I'm Missing You

"Come Back To Me"

~by Mick LaBriola @ 2005

Ya didn’t have to leave me all alone;

I know ya didn’t wanna hurt me,

Leave your daddy on his own.

I see ya when I’m dreaming,

When I’m awake everyday;

I see ya when I’m cryin,

I hope I live another day.

I feel you inside me,

Won’t ya help me on my way;

'Cause I feel like I’m dyin,

I can’t chase the pain away;

Come back to Me-

I really Love you;

Come back to Me-

Oh I really miss you;

Come back to me-

Oh I really want you;

Come back to me.

Remember when I held you,

Held your little hand in mine;

Squeeze me tighter my sweet baby,

I wanna touch you one more time.

I used to like to smell you,

My sweet honey baby mine;

Hold me closer my sweet darling,

Hold me closer all my time.

And then at night a story,

Your same ole favorite one;

Snuggle close to your daddy,

Until I read another one.

Come back to me -

Oh I really love you;

Come back to me -

Oh I really miss you;

Come back to me -

Oh I really want you;

Come back to me.

But I’ll see you again

Yes I’ll see you again

Oh I’ll see you again

Yes I'll see you again.

I'm gonna see you again

Whoa whoa whoa

See you again

Whoa whoa whoa

See you again

Whoa whoa whoa

See you again

Whoa whoa whoa

See you again

Whoa whoa whoa

See you again

Whoa whoa whoa

See you again

Whoa whoa whoa

I'm gonna see you again!
