Wednesday's Woe
Who am i?
Who am i and what will i be
what i was no longer is
who i will be no one knows
But God's in His Heaven, and He holds me.
On that day, life came to a standstill
on that day, the whole world stopped
on that day, my life froze in time
But you're in God's Heaven, peace be still.
3 1/2 years seem like a day
3 1/2 years fly by like a night
3 1/2 years without you here...
But when you speak, time goes away.
What am i to do with my life
Life goes on with or without me
when you left, my life slipped away...
But God lives in me, and He IS my Life.
On that day, life came to a standstill
on that day, the whole world stopped
on that day, my life froze in time
But you're in God's Heaven, "Peace! Be still."
I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. John 14:6
A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke Him and said to Him,
"Teacher, don't You care if we drown?"
He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves,
"Peace! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
He said to His disciples,
"Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" Mark 4:37-40
Faith is the evidence of things not seen, the substance of things hoped for. Hebrews 11:1
Since God got my baby to Heaven, He can surely take care of me...
God restored Life to my baby, raised her from the dead;
He'll surely restore Life to me, though my heart feel pulverized, dead.
I will celebrate life today, for my baby's no longer dead!
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the Life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies..." John 11:25
"Because I live, you also will live..." ~Jesus, John 14:19
"He is not far from each one of us. For in Him we live and move and have our being." Acts 17:27b-28a ~Paul, about God

I Will Rise

I Will Rise
Chris Tomlin
There's a peace I've come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say, "It is well"
Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead
And I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagle's wings
Before my God
Fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise
There's a day that's drawing near
When this darkness breaks to light
And the shadows disappear
And my faith shall be my eyes
Jesus has overcome
And the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen
From the dead
And I will rise
When He calls my name
No more sorrow
No more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God
Fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise

The people in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
Tuesday's Trust
Trust Him in the Darkness
And tonight, I wanted to share my poem with you.
Trust Him in the Darkness
Trust Him in the darkness,
He is made of light;
Even in grief's starkness,
He can light death's night.
Trust Him in the shadows,
Things that make you fear;
He can e'en combat those
By His drawing near.
Trust Him in life's leanness,
For there you, He'll meet;
Even midst your weakness,
He makes life complete.
Trust Him in the dark days
When your world seems bleak;
He promises always,
He will help the weak.
Trust Him midst keening cries
When your heart is torn;
He refutes Satan's lies:
"Blessed are those who mourn!"
For God who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made His light shine in our hearts...
~ 2 Corinthians 4:6
"...The people in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned."
~ Matthew 4:14-16, (Isaiah 9:1-2) Jesus (came)...to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah
Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains!
For the Lord comforts His people and will have compassion on His afflicted ones.
~ Isaiah 49:13
In all their distress He too was distressed,
and the angel of His presence saved them.
In His love and mercy He redeemed them;
He lifted them up and carried them...
~ Isaiah 63:9
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."
Matthew 5:4 (Jesus speaking)
